Elk's Most Valuable Student Scholarship 2015 Most Valuable Student applications are due to the Elks Lodge closest to the applicant's home by December 5, 2014. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Go to www.elks.org for information and to download an application. The local Pittsburg Elk's Club will also give local scholarhips. See Mrs. Ketterman if you have questions.


Hagan Scholarship Available to high achieving students who demonstrate finanical need. Go to www.hsfmo.org for more information. Deadline November 15.


WSU scholarship Through the annual Klose Scholarship Essay Competition Klose Scholarships are awarded to high school seniors with a passion for teaching. The three winners receive financial aid packages that will cover the cost of tuition for all fours years required to earn an education degree. To qualify, students must: be a high school senior graduating in spring, 2015; have an ACT composite score of 24 or higher or SAT of 1090 or higher; and be admitted to WSU by October 1 (ACT scores and GPA must also be received by WSU by that date); and declare a major in math or science education.
